Western Canada’s premier heat set web printer is looking for a proven performer to join our team. Mitchell Press was established in 1928, and has a well-established commercial web division. We currently have an opening for a Perfect Binder Operator. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a custom manufacturing environment and must be flexible to work various shifts.
Compensation
Union position providing medical, dental, pension
$32.95 per hour + shift differentials
Education/Experience
Minimum Grade 12
Journeyman Bookbinder 1.
Requirements
• Proficient in Perfect Binding, 3 knife trimming
• P.U.R. binding
• Stitching, cutting, folding experience would be an asset
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organized
• Reliable
• Can do physical duties. Lifting to 50 lbs.
• Team player
• Works well under pressure
