Participate, donate to Team Unifor in the Steps for Life Walk

Greetings:

On April 29^th, 2023, the formed “Team Unifor”, organized by the BCRC Workers with Disabilities Standing Committee, will be participating in the Vancouver area Steps for Life Walk 2023. We are encouraging Unifor locals and members to show their support by participating and/or donating with all proceeds from this event supporting Threads of Life.

Threads of Life is a national charitable organization dedicated to helping families heal after they’ve been affected by a traumatic workplace fatality, life-altering workplace injury or occupational disease.

For more information about this event, to donate or participate please visit the Steps for Life website at http://events.threadsoflife.ca/. Once on the home page, participants can simply click on the donate button and under search for a team type in Unifor Vancouver.

What: Steps for Life Walk 2023

When: April 29^th, 2023 @ 10:00am. (registration opens at 09:00am.)

Where: Milton Wong Plaza, 1650 Manitoba Street, Vancouver, BC

If you are unable to participate in the April 29^th walk, participants can do their own mini walk by getting out with friends and family.
