Canadians who consume news at least once a day are more likely to get a COVID-19 vaccine as soon as it’s available, according to a new survey from the Canadian Journalism Foundation (CJF).
The survey, conducted by Pollara Strategic Insights, found a clear link between Canadians’ trust in news and their enthusiasm for the vaccine.
Boomers age 55-and-older, those who consume news at least once a day, are up-to-date about COVID-19 and informed about vaccines are most likely to get vaccinated when their chance comes up, said a report on the findings.
