Mitchell Digital is looking for a Digital Press Operator to join our team.
Ideal candidates will have the following qualifications:
— 5+ yrs working experience working in a printing environment
— Operation of a Digital Press
— Experience with Large Format equipment and processes
— Mechanical and technical capabilities
— Small Bindery experience cutting, stitching and folding
— Knowledge of Colour Management for a printing environment
— Understanding of a digital production process
— Ability to collaborate with a team and also work autonomously
— Must have a keen eye for detail
— Strong conceptual thinking
— Strong computer skills on both Mac and PC platforms
— Administrative tasks as required
The successful individual must be flexible, well organized, have strong communication skills, and the desire to work with an excellent team of individuals.
This is a Union position based on a 36-hour work week. Shift work required.
The position pays $28.86 per hour, plus benefits.
