Western Canada’s premier heat set web printer is looking for a proven performer to join our team.
Mitchell Press was established in 1928, and has a well-established commercial web division.
We currently have an opening for a full-time Bookbinder 1. The successful candidate must be comfortable working in a custom manufacturing environment and must be flexible to work various shifts.
Compensation
Union position providing medical, dental, pension
$32.95 per hour + shift differentials
Education/Experience
Minimum Grade 12
Journeyman Bookbinder 1.
Requirements
• 10 + years of experience with Muller Martini stitchers (Prima or newer model stitchers)
• Minimum 10 years’ experience cutting and folding
• Strong Leadership skills
• Good communication skills
• Attention to detail
• Organized
• Reliable
• Able to perform physical duties. Lifting to 50 lbs.
• Team player
• Works well under pressure
