The Dawson Creek Mirror is looking for a full-time general assignment reporter/photographer.
The Mirror is appealing for journalists who are hard workers, exceptional writers, strong photojournalists, and excited by the prospect of producing day-to-day coverage and research-based features about the city of Dawson Creek and the South Peace region of Northeast B.C.
Under the guidance of the editor, the reporter will be able to file a minimum of three stories, or 2,000 words, per shift for print and web, while engaging our readers through social media. As a reporter, the successful candidate understands they are always on the record and generating leads, and that the job includes evening and weekend work when required.
